UNION CITY, Ind. – The Centerville girls track team won the final race of the night, which put the Bulldogs on top in the Tri-Eastern Conference Meet on Thursday.
With the victory in the 1600 Relay, Centerville won its first title since 2016 and 13th overall.
In addition to the final relay, Centerville won the 3200 Relay along with four other individual championships.
Phoebe Neher won the 100 and 200, while Emily Tedder was first in the 1600 and 3200.
Second place Hagerstown won five events.
Camryn Bradway won both hurdle races with Abby Dale taking the high jump as Kaelynn Shultz won the shot put. The Tigers also won the 400 Relay.
Northeastern, Tri High, Union City and Union County all had one winner.
Emma Carr won the 400 for Northeastern and Averi Phelps of Tri claimed the discus title.
Sophia Spence won the 800 on her home track for the Indians with Union County’s Kendal Jones recording the top distance in the long jump.
