The end of the 1975 season was capped by what many believe to be one of the most exciting World Series ever played.
The Cincinnati Reds won the world championship for the first time in 35 years.
Fred Lynn of Boston was named the American League Most Valuable Player and Rookie-of-the-Year as helped Red Sox reach the Fall Classic for first time since 1967.
All 24 teams are entered into the Press Room Pass 1975 Strat-O-Matic Tournament and have been placed in brackets by their divisions based on regular season records and head-to head results in case of a tie.
Using that formula, the Cincinnati Reds were the top seed with the Oakland A’s taking the second spot. The Red Sox were third, while the Pittsburgh Pirates were fourth. The top two teams in each division received a bye in the opening round.
