COWAN, Ind. – The Hagerstown boys basketball team broke open a tight contest in the second quarter on Saturday as the Tigers went on to a 66-30 win over Cowan.
Jared Andis led the Tigers with 25 points.
“Andis had a break out game and shot the ball very well,” Hagerstown Head Coach Bobby Jones said. “We played 12 guys and defended really well all night.”
“Trent Weiss and Trey Kelley did a great job of finding Andis tonight,” Jones continued. “We really asserted ourselves early tonight on the offensive boards. Jalen Oliver, Isaiah Neal, Evan Hoover, Drew Pyle and Mason Hicks were outstanding on the boards tonight.”
Pyle scored eight points for the Tigers, while Neal, Hoover, Oliver, Weiss and Dustin Allen added five points each.
Hagerstown won the JV game 52-17. Dylan Napier led the way with 16 points. Brady McMillan finished with 15.
The Tigers (2-0) are at Knightstown next Saturday.
