LIBERTY, Ind. – A six-run third inning made the difference on Friday as the Union County baseball team went on to beat Triton Central 12-2.
Zander Kottka, Blake Fields and Mason Miller had two hits each for the Patriots.
Fields, Miller and Preston Scott all knocked in two runs.
Noah Hartley tossed a five-inning complete game with two strikeouts.
The Patriots are scheduled to play Tri-County North on Saturday before they visit Tri-Eastern Conference foe Winchester on Monday.
