Big Inning Helps Tigers Win over Lincoln

HagerstownHAGERSTOWN, Ind. – The Hagerstown baseball team won its first Tri-Eastern Conference contest on Wednesday as the Tigers defeated Lincoln 9-3 at Lloyd Michael Field.

The game was tied 3-3 when the Tigers broke it open in the bottom of the sixth with six runs.

Sam Reagan picked up the win on the mound for the Tigers as he worked six innings and struck out a dozen.

Dylan Woolard led the Tigers offense with three hits and three RBI.

Lucian Cornett took the loss for the Golden Eagles.

Both teams return to action on the road Thursday.

Hagerstown (3-1, 1-0) visits Shenandoah, while Lincoln (1-2, 0-1) is at Morristown.
