FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – Northeastern Head Boys Golf Coach Mark Bevins welcomes back one of the top performers in the Tri-Eastern Conference, but he’s not certain what to expect from the Knights
“It’s really hard to determine expectations,” Bevins said. “I do expect to compete in the top half of the league.”
All-TEC junior Garrett Schuler is expected to lead the team. Schuler was close to advancing to the regional last spring, but missed the cut by one stroke in a playoff.
Others on the roster are senior Ryan Wogoman, junior Bryce Cowen, junior Ayden Michaels and sophomores Parker Mitchell and Taylor Appledorn.
Northeastern, which was third in last year’s TEC tournament.
The Knights were scheduled to begin the season at Franklin County on Monday, April 11, but the match was moved to Wednesday, April 13.
