CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Morgan Guenther scored three goals on Tuesday as the Centerville girls soccer team defeated Rushville 6-0 in the season opener for both squads.
Guenther had a pair of goals in the first half as the Bulldogs built a 4-0 advantage.
Mackenzie Tipton and Lexi Harmon also scored in the first period.
In the second half, Guenther scored for the final time and Megan Stevens added the other goal.
Guenther and Harmon also had assists in the contest.
Centerville goalkeeper Cassidy Weiss had three saves.
The Bulldogs travel to New Palestine on Saturday.
