CONNERSVILLE, Ind. – The Centerville track teams opened the season at Connersville on Thursday.
The girls fell 84-49 to the Spartans, while the boys were defeated 109-23.
Phoebe Neher (long jump, 100) and Emily Tedder (1,600, 3,200) won two events for the Bulldogs, while Grace Carter (800) and Abby Ulm (400) also won.
The 3,200-meter relay team of Kayla Newman, Tedder, Ulm and Carter started the event with a victory.
For the boys, Jarrett Hayden (shot put, discus) was second in two events.
