CENTERVILLE, Ind. – The Centerville boys tennis team won its third straight on Thursday as the Bulldogs beat Franklin County 4-1.
The Bulldogs swept the singles action.
Nolan Witte defeated Trevin Mundershield 6-2, 7-5 at No. 1. In the second spot, Sklyer Benedict blanked Trevor Murray 6-0, 6-0. Nate Reed won 6-2, 6-3 over Austin Arrnsmith at No. 3.
Nathan Cheek and Bennett Walther defeated Dillon Lewis and Brian Perkins 6-3, 6-0 for Centerville’s win in doubles at No. 2.
Centerville won the junior varsity match as Zach Montour took his singles contest. Montour and Kobe Brown also won twice in doubles.
The Bulldogs (3-0) are at Union City next Thursday, Sept. 1.
