BROOKVILLE, Ind. – A pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth proved to be the difference on Friday as Centerville fell 3-2 at Franklin County.
The Wildcats scored twice erase a one-run deficit against Centerville starter Devin Christian, who gave up four hits and struck out five.
Franklin County picked up a run in the first inning before the Bulldogs grabbed a 2-1 advantage in the fourth frame.
Chris Pritchett and Logan Moistner each had a RBI for the Bulldogs.
Moistner, Matt Stamper, Jack Willis and Justyn North all had a hit for Centerville.
Centerville (5-6) welcomes Winchester on Saturday for a doubleheader with the first contest being a Tri-Eastern Conference affair.
