MILTON, Ind. – The Centerville baseball team jumped out to a six-run lead on Friday night as the Bulldogs went on to defeat Lincoln 10-2.
Chris Pritchett led the Bulldogs with three hits including a double as he knocked in three runs.
Nolan Witte also had three hits with a RBI.
Dalton Stevens, Michael Brewer, Jared Rasner and Dante Torres all had two hits. Brennen Kean had a hit and drove in two runs.
Witte got the win on the mound for the Bulldogs as he worked 4⅓ with nine strikeouts. Tommy Fordonski went the final 2⅔ innings as he fanned a pair.
For the Golden Eagles, Bryce Pennington had a hit and RBI
Cameron Gwin knocked in a run, while Mason Dick singled and had a stolen base. Coy Smith swiped two bases.
Centerville (6-6, 2-3) entertains Oldenburg on Monday.
Lincoln (2-15, 0-5) gets a visit from Union County on Tuesday.
