RICHMOND, Ind. – After starting the Richmond Boys Tennis Sectional one day late because of rain, Centerville and the host Red Devils are scheduled to meet for the championship on Friday.
On Thursday, Tri-Eastern Conference champ Centerville advanced to the finals with a 4-1 victory over Lincoln in the semifinal round at the Tiernan Center Courts.
Richmond beat a pair of teams from the TEC to reach the title affair as the Red Devils downed Hagerstown 4-1 and then Northeastern 5-0,
The championship match is set to begin at 4:30 p.m.
