CENTERVILLE, Ind. – The Centerville baseball team rallied to post an 8-7 victory over Northeastern on Thursday.
After the Knights tied the game with a run in the top of the sixth, the Bulldogs scored twice in the bottom of the frame to take the lead for good.
Chris Pritchett led the Bulldogs with two hits including a double as he drove in three runs.
Brennan Kean knocked in two runs and Oran VanSkyock had two RBI.
Dalton Stevens had a double, scored three times and had two stolen bases.
Nolan Witte picked up the win for the Bulldogs, while Stevens earned a save.
For the Knights, Connor Bray had two doubles and 2 RBI.
Nate Fletcher had three hits with Tanner Wilson and Justin Bane contributing two hits each. Damian Esquivel added a double.
Centerville (2-2, 1-1) travels to Cowan on Saturday, while Northeastern (1-6, 1-2) is at Blue River next Thursday.
