ALEXANDRIA, Ind. – The Centerville girls basketball team opened the season on Saturday (Nov. 7) with a 49-42 loss at Alexandria.
Merissa Ross led the Bulldogs with 18 points and 13 rebounds.
Savannah Kates added 10 points for the Bulldogs, while Alex McFarland tossed in six points.
The Bulldogs (0-1) return to action on the road against Eastern Hancock (1-0) on Friday, Nov. 13. The site of the contest was changed after schedules were printed, so it is a road game. The Royals won 41-32 at Hagerstown on Friday, Nov. 7.
