LEWISVILLE, Ind. – The Centerville boys basketball team pulled away from Tri in the second quarter on Friday as the Bulldogs defeated the Titans 59-41.
Tri led 14-12 after one period of the Tri-Eastern Conference affair before the Bulldogs built an 27-21 advantage by halftime.
Centerville added to its lead as the Bulldogs finished the third quarter on top 46-34.
Justin DuPree led the Bulldogs with 21 points, while Alex Brandon and Michael Brewer tossed in 12 points each.
The Titans were led by Alex Melton and David O’Neill with 14 points apiece.
Tri (6-14, 0-6) visits Randolph Southern on Saturday. The Bulldogs (11-9, 3-3) are at Wapahani on Tuesday.
