CENTERVILLE, Ind. – The Centerville baseball team picked up a 6-2 victory over Eastern Hancock on Thursday.
The Bulldogs scored four times in the third inning to erase a 2-0 deficit before picking up their final two runs in the sixth.
Centerville starter Jack Willis (2-0) gave up two runs with only one being earned on eight hits in six innings. He struck out four as he earned the victory over the Royals (1-2).
Justyn North tossed the final stanza for the Bulldogs and fanned three batters to finish the contest.
North also topped the Bulldogs with a pair of hits, including a double.
Centerville (3-1) visits Jay County for a doubleheader on Saturday.
