KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. – The Centerville boys soccer team opened its season with a 4-1 victory at Knightstown on Tuesday.
Trenton Uhl had a goal and three assists for the Bulldogs, while Peyton Sparks, Michael Brewer and Dante Torres each scored.
Ronnie Schaeffer scored for the Panthers.
Centerville goalkeeper Tyler Phenis recorded four saves. Trey Rider also had a save.
Knightstown goalkeeper Burias Wisner had 15 saves.
The Panthers are back in action on Thursday at Hauser.
The Bulldogs participate in the Batesville Invitational on Saturday.
