CENTERVILLE, Ind. – The Centerville boys tennis team defeated Tri 5-0 on Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs are now 8-1 overall and 4-0 in the Tri-Eastern Conference.
In singles action, Nolan Witte defeated Clayton Becker 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1. In the second spot, Skyler Benedict beat Kyle Falck 6-0,6-0. At No. 3, Nate Reed won 6-0, 6-0 over Trai Ervine.
Blake Shook and Josh Duke teamed up to defeat Mason Rottinghaus and Jimmy Jeffries 6-0, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles. At No. 2, Nathan Cheek and Bennett Walther got past Jarod Stevens and Isaiah Steele 6-1, 6-0.
In the junior varsity contests, Centerville’s Zach Montour and Kobe Brown both won their matches.
Centerville is at Union County on Thursday, while Tri (1-6) faces Randolph Southern on the same night at home.
