LIBERTY, Ind. – Centerville’s boys tennis team defeated Union County 5-0 in a Tri-Eastern Conference match on Thursday.
In singles action, Nolan Witte defeated Leighton Schulte 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1. Skyler Benedict won 6-0, 6-1 over Joey Weller in the second spot. At No. 3, Nate Reed beat Jacob Stansberry 1-6, 6-2, 6-2.
Blake Shook and Josh Duke got past Owen Miller and Austin Bowling 6-1, 6-2 in the top doubles position. At No. 2, Nathan Cheek and Bennett Walther defeated Alexander Kottka and Tyler Soper 6-0, 6-1.
Centerville won the JV contest 2-0 with Zach Montour and Kobe Brown both winning singles matches for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs travel to Merrillville on Saturday.
