CONNERSVILLE, Ind. – The Cambridge City 15U baseball team raised its record to 4-0 on Thursday as the team swept the Connersville All-Stars 10-2 and 10-1.
In the opener, Mason Dick got the win on the mound as he also contributed offensively with a sacrifice fly and scored twice, while walking three times.
Nolan Miller had three hits and knocked in a pair of runs and scored two times.
Jacob Ervin also had three singles, a RBI and two runs.
Alex Hokey added a triple and two RBI. Bryce Pennington walked three times and scored two runs.
Pennington earned the victory in the second contest.
Offensively, Coy Smith had two hits, two walks and a run.
Hayden Pierce had a pair of singles and a run.
Cameron Gwin had a single, walk and a run. Gavin Sherwood scored twice.
Cambridge City is back in action on Monday night at Rushville in the Little League District Tournament.
