CENTERVILLE, Ind. – The Centerville baseball team picked up a victory on Monday as the Bulldogs defeated Oldenburg 6-4.
Cameron Newman got the win as he tossed five innings giving up one earned run on five hits with two strikeouts.
Tommy Fordonski worked the final 1⅓ innings to get a save.
The Bulldogs were helped by a dozen walks as they erased a 3-2 defict in the fourth inning with four runs.
Chris Pritchett had three walks to go with a hit and two RBI.
Fordonski and Dante Torres had the other hits for the Bulldogs.
Centerville (7-6, 2-3) visits Hagerstown for a Tri-Eastern Conference game on Tuesday.
