CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Levi Parrish won a pair of events on Monday as the Centerville boys track team defeated Tri 92-30.
Levi Parrish won a 1,600-meter run with a time of 5:21.9 in the Tri-Eastern Conference meet, while taking the 800 in 2:33.6. He also was a part of two relay teams that were victorious.
Centerville’s 3,200 team of Parrish, Ben Nevels, Kaleb Duncan and Matthew Heath won in 10:30. In the 1,600 relay, Dylan Benedict, Nico Wankerl, Parrish and Reese VanDevender won in 3:59.1.
The Bulldogs also won the 400 relay with VanDevender, Alfredo Calderon, Benedict and David Burke in 48.1.
The other individual winners for the Bulldogs were Benedict (110 hurdles, 16.91), Wankerl (300 hurdles, 47.1), VanDevender (200, 25.0), Nevels (3,200, 11:54), Brandt Stapleton (high jump, 5’4″), Seth Woolwine (shot put) 42’4″0 and Austin Miller (discus, 121’1″)
Grant Jessup led the Titans with wins in the long jump (18’4″) and the 400 (55.5).
David O’Neill posted Tri’s other win the 100 (12.0).
Both teams have TEC meets on Thursday. Centerville is at Winchester and Tri visits Hagerstown.
