CENTERVILLE, Ind. – The Centerville baseball team broke open a close game on Saturday with a seven-run fourth inning as the Bulldogs went on to an 11-1 victory.
The Bulldogs led 2-1 when they had their big inning in the Tri-Eastern Conference affair to take the lead for good.
Chris Pritchett led the Bulldogs in the six-inning contest with two hits including a home run and three RBI.
Matt Stamper, Nolan Witte, Ricky Torres, Peyton Hobson and Blake Shook also had hits for Centerville.
Dalton Hensley led the Falcons with two hits, while Michael Georgi, Joe Webb and Drake Moody each had a hit.
Stamper picked up the win for the Bulldogs in relief of starter Jack Willis.
Winchester starter Aaron Wallace got the loss.
Both teams return to action on Tuesday with home games.
The Bulldogs (6-6, 3-1) entertain New Palestine, while the Falcons (2-10, 1-4) get a visit from Cowan.
