CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. – The Centerville girls tennis team remained unbeaten in the Tri-Eastern Conference on Thursday as they Bulldogs defeated Lincoln 5-0.
Abby Stewart defeated Jamie Buhl 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1, while Shelby Good outlasted Rachel Merida 6-3, 5-7, 7-5 at No. 2.
In the third singles spot, Chloe Uphaus won 6-1, 6-0 over Ali Reese.
At No. 1 doubles, Kelly Wolf and Robyn Raatz posted a 6-3, 1-6, 6-2 victory over Lydia Bertsch and Kylei Klein.
Addie Walther and Morgan Guenther defeated Lesli Richardson and Kami Layman 7-5, 6-0 in the second doubles position.
Centerville is now 7-0 overall and 2-0 in the TEC. Lincoln is 5-2 and 2-2.
