CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Centerville’s swimming teams remained unbeaten in dual meets on Thursday as the Bulldogs defeated Connersville.
The girls won 118-68 to go 4-0, while the boys as 3-0 after posting a 95-90 victory.
For the girls, Centerville swept the relay events. Aubrey Davis, Grace Whiteley, Sophie Neher and Baylee Fry won the 200 Medley Relay (2:04.78). Tory Cruse, Baylee Fry, Grace Whiteley and Sydney Whiteley won the 200 Free Relay (1:49.58). Sydney Whiteley, Tory Cruse, Sophie Neher and Aubrey Davis won the 400 Free Relay (4:12.78).
Individually, Sydney Whiteley won the 50 Free (26.03), Aubrey Davis won the 200 IM (2:28.23), Jolie Rusznak won Diving (221.80), Anna Carter won the 500 Free (6:33.84) and Sophie Neher won the 100 Back (1:13.52)
Personal records were Tory Cruse in the 200 Free, Anna Carter in the 500 Free, Maddie Riggott in the 200 Free, Grace Whiteley in the 200 IM, Bailey Owens in the 50 Free, Maddy Strain in diving, Hayley Hites in the 100 Fly, Citalli Moreno in the 100 Fly, Madi Day in the 100 Free and Baylee Fry in the 100 Back.
The boys won two of the three relays. Parker Neher, Jonathan Larsen, Aydan Koyles and Nico Wankerl won the 200 Free Relay (1:43.48). Parker Neher, Aaron Glover, Parker Jaynes and Nico Wankerl won the 400 Free Relay (3:49.27)
Nico Wankerl won the 200 Free (2:06.73) and the 100 Free (56.57) and Parker Jaynes won the 500 Free (6:16.97)
Personal records were Parker Jaynes in the 200 Free, Parker Neher in the 200 IM and the 100 Fly, Wyatt Sewell in the 200 IM and the 100 Breast, Jackson Troutwine in the 50 Free and the 100 Free, Ryan Hugo in the 100 Free, Cameron Salo in the 500 Free and the 100 Back.
Centerville is back in action on Saturday at the Eastern Hancock Invitational. The divers compete at the Fishers Diving Invitational the same day.
