CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Kenzie Lanman tossed a complete game on Tuesday as the Centerville softball team defeated Knightstown 4-2.
Lanman gave up two unearned runs on four hits with 10 strikeouts to get the win in the Tri-Eastern Conference affair.
Shelby Koch, Jade Hill and Kelsee Troutwine led the Bulldogs with two hits apiece.
Lanman had a double and drove in a pair of runs that gave the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead in the first inning.
Alyssa Riall tripled in the sixth to knock in two runs to give Centerville a 4-0 advantage.
Trinidie Newby had a hit and a RBI for the Panthers.
Cara Mullen, Lexy Goodpaster and Sidney Vise had the other hits for Knightstown.
Centerville (4-4, 3-1) faces Monroe Central at home on Thursday.
The Panthers (6-7, 1-3) entertains North Decatur on Wednesday.
