COWAN, Ind. – The Centerville volleyball team earned a third place finish on Saturday at the Blackhawk Invitational hosted by Cowan.
The Bulldogs defeated Lincoln 26-24, 25-21 in their opening contest and then beat Frankton 25-21, 25-17.
Centerville dropped its semifinal match to Cowan 22-25, 25-16, 15-9. The Bulldogs bounced back to win the third place affair over Blue River 25-17, 25-21.
Addie Walther had 24 kills, 20 digs and four blocks to lead Centerville. Lizzy Walther added 32 assists and 22 digs. The duo earned a place on the all-tourney team.
Morgan Toschlog contributed 33 digs and seven aces, while Kelsee Troutwine finished with 14 kills and four blocks.
Centerville entertains Blue River on Tuesday.
