RICHMOND, Ind. – The Centerville girls golf team won the Wayne County Tournament on Saturday at Highland Lake Golf Course.
The Bulldogs had three players on the all-county squad as they finished with a score of 401.
Hagerstown was second with a 420 as the Tigers had a pair of golfers earn all-county honors. Northeastern finished third with 512 and Lincoln was fourth with 518.
Centerville’s Chloe Brown was the medalist as she led the way with a 84. Brooke Killion added a 92 and Myra Robinson carded a 100 for the Bulldogs to make the all-county team.
Hagerstown’s Emilee Thackery led the Tigers with a 95 as she was joined on the all-county list by Shay Doerstler, who had a 103.
McKenzie Chasteen led Northeastern with a 117, while Jessica Harmer topped Lincoln’s scoring with a 113.
