CENTERVILLE, Ind. – The Centerville girls basketball team needed an extra session on Saturday, but the Bulldogs came out on top in a 49-41 overtime decision over Knightstown.
The Bulldogs led at the end of every quarter until the fourth when the game was tied 37-37.
Cassidy Weiss had all of her nine points in the overtime as Centerville outscored the Panthers 12-4 to earn the win.
Ella Chew led the Bulldogs with 12 points.
Savana Kates tossed in nine points, while Morgan Guenther and Kailee Tedder finished with seven each.
Centerville (1-3) entertains Knightstown on Saturday.
