CHARLOTTESVILLE, Ind. – Centerville’s swimming teams captured the team championships on Saturday at the Eastern Hancock Invitational.
The Centerville girls finished first in all three relays. Aubrey Davis, Grace Whiteley, Sophie Neher and Tory Cruse won the 200 Medley Relay (2:03.88).
Sydney Whiteley, Grace Whiteley, Baylee Fry and Tory Cruse won the 200 Free Relay (1:51.36). Sophie Neher, Baylee Fry, Sydney Whiteley and Aubrey Davis won the 400 Free Relay (4:09.79).
Individually, Grace Whiteley won the 200 IM (2:35.85) and the 100 Breast (1:21.73). Sydney Whiteley won the 50 Free (26.18) and the 100 Back (1:08.22). Aubrey Davis won the 100 Fly (1:13.67).
Personal records were recorded by Baylee Fry in the 200 Free, Hayley Hites in the 200 IM, Kayla Newman in the 100 Free, Maddie Riggott in the 500 Free and Ashley Williams in the 100 Breast.
On the boys side, Jonathan Larsen, Parker Jaynes, Parker Neher and Nico Wankerl won the 400 Free Relay (3:52.72).
Nico Wankerl won the 50 Free (24.76) and the 100 Breast (1:11.14). Parker Neher won the 100 Free (56.63).
PRs were recorded by Konner Duncan in the 200 Free, Jackson Troutwine in the 50 Free, Ben Nevels in the 100 Fly, Cameron Salo in the 100 Free, Parker Jaynes in the 500 Free, Ryan Hugo in the 100 Back and Aydan Koyles in the 100 Breast.
The Bulldogs compete in the Connersville Invitational next Saturday.
