CENTERVILLE, Ind. – The Centerville girls softball team scored 10 times in the first inning on Thursday as the Bulldogs went on to defeat Union City 20-0.
The Bulldogs had 16 hits with Jade Hill leading the way with three. She also knocked in three runs.
Alyssa Raill added two hits and drove in three runs.
Courtney Raill, Kenzie Lanman, Cassidy Weiss and Kelsee Troutwine all finished with two hits. Lanman and Grace Delay each had two RBI. Megan Stelle had three stolen bases.
Delay went the distance on the mound in the five-inning contest striking out 10.
For the Indians, Katie Reichard led the way with three hits.
Jodi Carpenter, Cassie Martin and Abigail Crowder all had a hit.
