Major League Baseball is asking fans to vote.

Voting for the annual All-Star Game is always a must do, but this year there is a little more responsibility for fans.

At this year’s Summer Classic in Cincinnati, fans will see some of the game’s greatest players on one stage at Great American Ballpark on July 14.

According to a release by MLB on April 8, fans can visit MLB.com/FranchiseFour to select the four most impactful players for each franchise who best represent the history of each franchise out of eight choices from its lineage. There is also a space for a write-in selection. Voting is live now until May 8.

Shoestringcatches1999 will have selections for each team beginning with the American League East and going through every division to offer readers voting suggestions.

In addition to every franchise, fans can also cast ballots for the Greatest Living Players, Negro Leaguers and MLB Pioneers.

The best part is that there isn’t a wrong answer in selecting any of the nominees.

Let the voting begin.
