According to a release by MLB on April 8, fans can visit MLB.com/FranchiseFour to select the four most impactful players for each franchise who best represent the history of each organization out of eight choices from its lineage. There is also a space for a write-in selection. Voting is live now until May 8.

Luis Aparicio: A 13-time all-star, Luis Aparicio was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1984. One of the leaders of the Go-Go White Sox that won the American League pennant in 1959. Aparicio was the AL Rookie of the Year in 1956 and began a string of nine straight Al stolen base titles that year. He also won nine Gold Gloves as a shortstop.
Eddie Collins: Elected to the Hall of Fame in 1939, Eddie Collins was part of the Chicago White Sox squad that won the World Series in 1917, which was his fourth overall championship. The second baseman had won three crowns with the Philadelphia A’s. As a member of the 1919 Black Sox, Collins claimed the first of his three stolen base titles. Eventually, he became the manager of the White Sox from 1924-1926.
Minnie Minoso: Known as Mr. White Sox, Minnie Minoso made his major league debut in 1949 and played in his final game in 1980. Minoso was a trail blazer for Latin Americans in the big leagues. A nine-time all-star with three Gold Gloves, Minoso is a member of the baseball hall of fames in Cuba and Mexico.
Frank Thomas: A two-time Most Valuable Player, Frank Thomas was voted into the Hall of Fame in 2014. The first baseman-designated hitter, in the all-time leader in several offensive categories including 448 of his 521 career homers the Chicago. Thomas made the AL All-Star Team five times and won four Silver Sluggers.
