According to a release by MLB on April 8, fans can visit MLB.com/FranchiseFour to select the four most impactful players for each franchise who best represent the history of each franchise out of eight choices from its lineage. There is also a space for a write-in selection. Voting is live now until May 8.

George Brett: Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999, George Brett is one of four players to have 3,000 hits, 300 homers and 200 stolen bases. Brett was the American League Most Valuable Player in 1980 and was a 13-time all-star. A member of the 1985 World Series champs, Brett is the only person to win three batting titles in three different decades (1976, 1980, 1990).
Dan Quisenberry: A three-time all-star, Dan Quisenberry was also the American League’s Fireman of the Year on five occasions. Quisenberry’s 238 career saves are the second most in club history.
Bret Saberhagen: The only two-time Cy Young Award winner for Kansas City, Bret Saberhagen earned the first honor in 1985 when the Royals won the World Series and he was named the Most Valuable Player seven-game affair. Saberhagen set a club mark for wins that season with a 23-6 record. He won his second Cy Young Award in 1989.
Frank White: A standout fielder for Kansas City through out his career, Frank White won eight Gold Gloves including six in a row from 1977-1982. He was also a five-time all-star at second base for the Royals.
