RICHMOND, Ind. – Lincoln’s baseball team swept Seton on Wednesday at McBride Stadium as Golden Eagle Head Coach Matt Brankle earned his first victories.
The Golden Eagles won the opener 6-2 before taking the second contest 10-0.
Hunter Willhite went the distance in the first game allowing two hits with five strikeouts.
Bryce Pennington singled and scored. Mason Dick had two hits and two RBI. Cameron Gwin had two hits and knocked in a run.
Nolan Miller singled, walked and stole three bases. Coy Smith singled, walked, stole a base and scored twice.
Gwin tossed a one-hit shutout as he fanned six. At the plate, he had four hits, scored two runs with a RBI.
Pennington had two hits and scored two runs. Miller had two hits and a stolen base with a RBI.
Evan Roegetter had a pair of hits as he knocked in a run. Smith singled, had two stolen bases and scored twice. Willhite singled with a RBI.
