KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. – The Lincoln girls tennis team didn’t drop a set on Tuesday as the Golden Eagles swept Knightstown 5-0.
In the top two singles positions, the Golden Eagles dominated the Panthers.
Jamie Buhl beat Hope Johnson 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1, while Rachel Merida took care of Ally Wilfong by the same score at No. 2.
Ali Reece won 6-0, 6-2 over Brooklyn Harding at No. 3.
In doubles action, Lydia Bertsch and Kylei Klein defeated Abbie True and Kamryn Reed 6-0, 6-3 at No. 1.
Kami Laymon and Leslie Richardson posted a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Kaitlyn McIntyre and Emma Grubbs in the second spot.
Lincoln (7-3) entertains Randolph Southern on Monday.
