HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – The Lincoln girls basketball team defeated Hagerstown 40-27 in a Tri-Eastern Conference affair on Thursday night.
Kylei Klein set the career rebounding record for the Golden Eagles as she grabbed seven to give her 748. She passed former leader Kylie Thornhill, who had 742.
Lincoln held a 23-6 advantage by halftime as the Golden Eagles gained control of the contest.
Allie Owens led Lincoln with 12 points, while Kerrigan Neff tossed in 11.
For the Tigers, Brytni Dale and Kassidy Oliger led the way with six points each.
Hannah Rogers topped the Tigers with five rebounds.
The Tigers (6-10, 2-3) travel to Franklin County on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles (15-3, 4-2) head to Knightstown on Tuesday.
