CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. – The Lincoln boys basketball team won its second game in the row on Saturday as the Golden Eagles beat Daleville 48-42.
“We played a tremendous defensive game tonight,” Lincoln Head Coach Rodney Klein said. “We also played with lots of passion,”
Chase Southerland led the Golden Eagles with 19 points against the Broncos (3-8), while Hunter Ferris tossed in 15 points.
Garrett Pumphrey had just six points, but he pulled down 14 rebounds and blocked eight shots. Caleb Craig finished with six points as well.
Lincoln (5-4) faces Class 2A No. 3 Northeastern in Thursday’s opener of the Wayne County Tournament at Hagerstown.
