UNION CITY, Ind. – The Lincoln girls basketball team edged Union City 39-37 in a Tri-Eastern Conference affair on Friday night.
Emmie Pugh led the Golden Eagles with 16 points, while Allie Owens finished with 10 points. Olivia Davis added seven points.
For the Indians, Ellie Kerns and Justiss Cantu both finished with nine points. Maddy Cox tossed in eight points.
Cantu also had six assists and six steals, while Cox had seven rebounds.
Union City won the JV contest 47-23 as Sarah Spence had 15 points for the Indians. Reagan Hoggatt grabbed seven rebounds. Emalee Bocanegra had six steals.
Lincoln (4-6, 2-2) travels to Eastern Hancock (8-5) on Tuesday.
The Indians (4-8, 2-4) entertain Tri High (9-2, 3-2) on Wednesday.
