CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind – The Lincoln girls basketball team had three players in double figures on Friday as the Golden Eagles opened the season with a 77-23 win over Anderson Prep.
Emmie Pugh scored 21 points to lead the Golden Eagles as the new Head Coach Garry Laymon earned his first win at the school.
Laynie Russell finished with 20 points as Allie Owens and Hannah Hall added a dozen each.
Lincoln won the JV contest 33-27.
The Golden Eagles (1-0) entertain Seton Catholic on Saturday.
