WINCHESTER, Ind. – The Class 2A No. 5 Winchester girls basketball team beat county rival Randolph Southern 51-44 on Thursday night.
On top 14-6 after one period, Winchester held a 26-20 advantage by the intermission before leading 43-30 at the end of three quarters.
Maddie Lawrence led the Golden Falcons with 20 points.
Shelby Miller and Becca Chamberlin each added 10 points. Miller grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds, while Chamberlin had a pair of steals.
Hannah Graft had seven points with Kira Robinson tossing in four points to go with five rebounds and three blocks.
Winchester won the JV contest as Ari Cowper led the way with 14 points.
Cami Miller, Brooklynn Hummel and Lily Lanter all scored six points.
The Golden Falcons (19-2, 7-0) finish the regular season at home on Wednesday as the entertain Tri-Eastern Conference foe Northreastern (9-10, 3-3).
