LIBERTY, Ind. – The Winchester boys basketball team had three players in double figures on Friday the Golden Falcons defeated Union County 57-53 in Tri-Eastern Conference action.
The Patriots grabbed an early lead of 19-14 after one period and they were able to stay on top 32-30 by halftime.
The Golden Falcons bounced back in the third frame to take a 42-38 lead as they were able to hold off the Patriots.
Boo Enis led Winchester with 19 points and Michael Georgi added 16 points. Isaiah Jordan-Miller tossed in 10 points.
Logan Sanford led the Patriots with 32 points. Mason Miller contributed 10 points.
Winchester (4-1, 2-0) entertains Jay County on Tuesday, while the Patriots (2-3, 0-2) travel to Batesville.
