LIBERTY, Ind. – The Union County girls basketball team posted a 51-47 Tri-Eastern Conference win over Knightstown on Thursday night.
Madison Gray scored 26 points to lead the Patriots, while Taylor Pinkerton added 15 points.
The Patriots led 16-11 after the opening period, but Knightstown bounced back to go on top 27-24 by halftime.
In the second half, the Patriots answered as Gray poured in 16 of her points to lead her team to the win.
Allyson Hauk and Maggie Smith led the Panthers with 10 points each.
Kaitlyn Jackson finished with eight points.
Union County (8-11, 4-2) travels to Lincoln (10-9, 3-3) on Tuesday.
Knightstown (3-17, 0-8) ends the regular season at home against Morristown (12-7) on Monday.
