NEW CASTLE, Ind. – A pair of girls golf teams from the Tri-Eastern Conference competed in the New Castle Invitational on Saturday at Westwood Golf Course.
Hagerstown was led by Emilee Thackrey with a 97 as the team shot a 429.
The others scores for the Tigers were Regan McKee (99), Sierra Searcy (114), Stefani Burns (119) and Maddi Phelps (138).
Centerville’s Chloe Brown led the Bulldogs with an 81.
The Bulldogs had a 441 and their other scores were Brooke Killion (98), Alison Weaver (107) and Erin Baker (155).
Mackenzie Black of New Palestine was the medalist with a 77 as her team won the event with a 347.
