KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. – The Hagerstown football team picked up its first win of the season on Friday as the Tigers defeated Knightstown 48-27.
The Tigers led 7-0 after one period and then 21-6 by halftime before putting the game in the third frame with a 41-13 advantage.
Hagerstown quarterback Owen Golliher rushed for 172 yards and three touchdowns, while completing 8-of-12 passes for 117 yards and two more scores.
Mason Hicks added 52 yards rushing and a touchdown. He also grabbed three passes for 35 yards and another score.
Jalen Oliver had two receptions for 55 yards. David Castle had one catch for a 7-yard touchdown.
Ryan Golliher led the Tigers on defense with 16 tackles. Castle finished with 11 stops and Keeton Adams added 10.
Hagerstown (1-1) gets a visit from Winchester next Friday as the Tigers open their Tri-Eastern Conference schedule.
