KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. – The Hagerstown boys basketball team split a pair of contests this weekend.
The Tigers won 55-47 at Knightstown on Saturday after falling 53-51 on Friday at Class 2A No. 6 Shenandoah.
“It was a tough loss last night to Shenandoah, but our kids responded with a great effort versus Knightstown,” Hagerstown Head Coach Bobby Jones said. “This is a big road win against a good Knightstown team.
Jared Andis led the Tigers during both games with 26 points against Knightstown (11-9) and 24 in the Shenandoah (18-2) affair.
“Jared Andis both nights shot the ball very well,” Jones said. “I can’t say enough about Bret Templin as our leader and Nate Combs defensively tonight. Mason Stitt also shot the ball very well (Saturday).”
