HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – With six runs in the fifth inning, the Hagerstown baseball team broke open a close contest as the Tigers went on to post a 10-0 win over Northeastern.
The Tigers finished the Tri-Eastern Conference affair with four runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Camden Rhoades, Cameron Purtha and Owen Golliher each had a pair of hits and drove in two runs.
Noah Dale also had two hits.
Cody Swimm went the distance for the Tigers and had nine strikeouts.
Connor Bray, Cade Bray and Justin Bane each had a hit for the Knights.
Colton Alexander worked into the fifth for the Knights with eight strikeouts.
Hagerstown (10-2, 4-1) welcomes Knightstown for a TEC game on Friday.
Northeastern (2-8, 1-4) entertains Franklin County on Wednesday.
