The top-ranked Tigers finish at 23-4 as their eight-game winning streak was snapped, while the third-ranked Hornets are 23-8.
The three runs Rossville had in the third frame ended a 29-inning scoreless inning stretch for the Tigers.
Trent Weiss and Owen Golliher led the Tigers with two hits.
Weiss added a stolen base and Golliher knocked in a run.
Kory Beeson, Trey Kelley, Cameron Purtha and Mason Hicks had hits for the Tigers. Beeson also drove in a run.
Drew Pyle went the distance on the mound for the Tigers with six strikeouts.
