Hagerstown Girls Take TEC Contest at Winchester

HagerstownWINCHESTER, Ind. – Hagerstown started its Tri-Eastern Conference girls basketball slate on Wednesday night with a 54-40 victory at Winchester.

“This was the team I was expecting,” Hagerstown Head Coach Chris Oliger said.

The Tigers (4-1, 1-0) had three players in double figures led by Gabby Willis who had 18 points to go with four steals.

Savannah Houck tossed in 16 points, while Hannah Rogers added 14 points.

Hagerstown dominated the boards with a 47-25 edge over the Falcons. Brytni Dale led the way with nine rebounds with Houck grabbing eight. Rogers had six rebounds.

Mariah Roberts topped the Falcons (3-4, 0-2) with 15 points. Liz Pegg finished with 12 points.

Becca Neville and Autumn Dixon led Winchester with five rebounds each.

Winchester is back in action at home against Northeastern on Monday, Nov. 30. Hagerstown entertains Shenandoah on Tuesday, Dec. 1.
