HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – The Hagerstown girls basketball team got off to a fast start on Saturday afternoon as the Tigers beat Muncie Burris 66-36.
Brytni Dale scored a career-high 25 points to lead the Tigers, while Gabby Willis establish a school record with 17 assists.
“We played well and got some things done,” Hagerstown Head Coach Chris Oliger said.
Hagerstown led 21-4 after one period and then held a 32-8 advantage by halftime.
Savannah Houck added 14 points for the Tigers against the Owls (3-16).
In addition to her assists, Willis finished with a dozen points. Dale and Houck each grabbed eight rebounds to pace the Tigers.
Hagerstown (15-7) finishes the regular season on Friday as the Tigers entertain Union City. The Tigers (5-1) can gain a share of the Tri-Eastern Conference title for the third straight year with a victory over the Indians (16-4, 6-0).
